2022 is proving to be Spec MX-5 Challenge’s most exciting year yet. New racers, tracks and shops all set the scene for a competitive 15 race season. In that spirit, Spec MX-5 Challenge announce the addition of Alex Bertagnoli in 2022. Bertagnoli will join the team at Advanced Autosports for a full seven race season, bringing 14 years of karting experience and four national championships to the field.

In three-days, 17 Spec MX-5 Challenge racers from around the country took to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in the hopes of being crowned the 2021 champion. With one qualifying session and two races, teams and drivers alike invoked the culmination of 22 regular season event weekends into minutes of on-track action.

At 17, Morris continues to make his mark on the nation’s most elite and competitive forms of racing. From a full Spec MX-5 Challenge season and F4 United States Championship run, Morris maintains wins, podiums and accolades while still being an ally and friend to his competitors off-track.
