FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
AUSTIN, July 8, 2021 – Spec MX-5 Challenge racers arrive in Wisconsin ready to compete at Road America. The second event weekend of the North Central region will feature two split-start races and host 11 drivers from July 10-11, 2021.
Located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, Road America has featured some of the world’s greatest racers since its opening in the 1950s. As one of the most popular North American tracks, Road America hosts over 400 events a year including the IndyCar series and the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
The road course includes 14 turns over four miles. Uphill and downhill sweeps with 30 feet width, encourage drivers to make a move in a matter of seconds on the straightaways while 640 acres of park-like grounds engulf the course.

The facility is a favorite of racers worldwide.
Coming off his dominating weekend at Watkins Glen International, Justin Piscittell will be back on track at Road America, looking to make an impression in a different region. Piscitell’s competitor Matt Fasnacht will also be present, looking for redemption.
Expect some great racing at Road America.
