The schedule reflects the series’ ever-growing effort to provide a space for racer development and experienced competitors alike. In three-days, 17 Spec MX-5 Challenge racers from around the country took to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in the hopes of being crowned the 2021 champion. With one qualifying session and two races, teams and drivers alike invoked the culmination of 22 regular season event weekends into minutes of on-track action.

Over 22 regular season events, Spec MX-5 Challenge racers brought speed, tenacity and energy to some of the nation’s most iconic tracks. Over 20 racers competed making for one of the most thrilling seasons since the series beginnings in 2017. The culmination of eight months of work comes to fruition November 5-7 during the SCCA’s 2021 American Road Race of Champions event at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. With the regular season now done the championship goes down to the wire once more.
